What's free and what's Pro?

Creating tasks, lists, subtasks, deadlines, reminders, drag-to-reorder and the home screen widget are all free, with no limits. Pro adds the AI features — brain dump, task breakdown, automatic prioritising — plus app blocking and the 30-day progress view.

I subscribed but the app still shows the free version

Try Restore on the paywall screen. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used to purchase. Entitlement can take a few seconds to sync after purchase; if it hasn't updated after a minute, email us.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID, not in the app. Go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. You can also tap "You're on Pro" in the Mine tab, which takes you straight there.

App blocking didn't lock anything when my deadline passed

The most common cause is that the deadline was less than 15 minutes away. iOS will not let any app schedule a Screen Time restriction with less than 15 minutes' notice, so the shield can't be armed that close — the app will tell you if you try. Set a deadline further out and arm it again.

Also check that you've chosen apps to block in Mine, then Distracting apps, and that Screen Time permission is granted.

Why can't the app show me which apps I've blocked?

Apple deliberately hides this. When you pick apps, the app receives an anonymous token rather than a list of names — we can see how many apps you chose, but never which ones. That's a privacy protection built into iOS, and it applies to every app that uses Screen Time.

Does my task data get sent to an AI?

Only when you use an AI feature. Tapping Sort, Break this down, or submitting a brain dump sends that task text to our AI provider to generate a result. Everything else — creating, organising, scheduling and completing tasks — works without any of that. If you'd rather your tasks never leave our servers, just don't use those features.

When do reminders arrive?

Reminders are spaced according to how far away the deadline is. An hour or more gets three nudges, evenly spaced, with the last at 15 minutes out. Shorter windows get fewer: 30 and 15 minutes, then 15 and 5, then a single nudge at 5 minutes. You also get one when a task becomes overdue.

Voice input isn't working

Check that microphone and speech recognition permissions are granted in Settings, under ADHD Planner. The microphone button only appears when voice is available on your device.

The widget isn't showing my tasks

Open the app once after installing so it has something to publish, then add the widget from your Home Screen: long-press an empty area, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for ADHD. Widgets refresh on iOS's own schedule rather than instantly, so a task you just added can take a few minutes to appear.

I got a reminder for a task I already finished

This shouldn't happen — completing or deleting a task cancels its reminders. If you're seeing it just after updating the app, reminders scheduled by an older version may still be queued; they'll stop after they fire once.

How do I delete my account and data?

Open the app and go to **Mine › Delete my account**. It asks you to confirm twice, then permanently erases your tasks, lists, subtasks and stats from our servers. It cannot be undone.

One thing to know: deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, because Apple bills that, not us. Cancel it in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.

Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device, but not the account data on our servers — use Delete my account for that. If you would prefer we did it for you, email pgreenwood333@gmail.com.

Is this a medical or treatment app?

No. It's a planning tool designed around how ADHD affects task initiation and time management, but it isn't a medical device and doesn't provide diagnosis or treatment.
